Iffley Road Mission House

Welcome to the Iffley Road Mission House blog. CMS have purchased two houses - 244 and 246 Iffley Road - which are being developed into one large house that will be home to a mission hearted community in East Oxford. This has been dreamed about for a while now but building work is just getting started so the dream of a community living in the house will be realised in 2008. In December we spent a day clearing out all the furniture and putting it into store which was quite a job! Lots of people have been enquiring about the mission community so this will be the web space that follows the journey/story of the community as it emerges and develops. The community doesn't exist yet so if you are interested in finding out about how to be part of it see the information at the top right hand side of the page.

Iffley Mission House

    CMS is developing two houses on Iffley Road into one to be home to a mission hearted community in East Oxford. The community will develop a Christ centred life together with shared rhythm of life, discipleship, mission engagement and prayer. Renovation work has begun in January 2008. We expect the house to be ready by June 2008 and are looking to recruit people interested in being part of the community.
