Rescued Chilean miner Jose Henriquez has told capacity congregations at Jesus House in London that he is here in the UK with one message - that God is a God of love who answers prayer.
His translator on the tour, the Rev Alf Cooper, chaplain to the President of Chile, preached passionately on the need for Britain to experience the power of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus House, a huge complex at Brent Cross, was the first venue to host Jose and Alf on the 34th Man Tour, which will see them criss-cross the country in the next 10 days.
When asked by Pastor Agu Irukwu who the 34th Man was, Jose replied: "He is invisible. But he is the one who was down there with us - and he was the one who came back to the surface with us."
Jose related how he had organised an evangelist to come and preach to the 33 trapped men via video link, and how 22 had received Christ as a result.
It has already been a busy weekend for Jose and Alf - many will have heard their stories on their local BBC radio and on Radio 4's Sunday programme. They will also be featured in a forthcoming documentary on the BBC World Service.

Great to hear this story. It gives God glory when we testify what God has done to our lives.

We were really touched by Jose's story and Alf's sermon about God's love and the power of The Holy Spirit.
His story was so impactful that our 9 year old daughter decided to give her life to Christ!
