What a fun morning at work on Monday... getting to meet the extraordinary Jones family who are setting off on a mission journey round Europe, living out of an equally extraordinary truck.
Here are the Joneses - Andrew and Debbie and their five children - with their new home. There are a few windows in the living area / trailer section still to be added, but already includes a few hidden extras - like a potter's wheel and kiln under the floor.
"I love making pottery," says Debbie. "God's a potter - and I get so many chances to share about my spirituality as I'm making pottery, so why not take it on the road?"
"It's also a part of the way to become self-sustainable - setting up little micro-enterprises - and the pottery is one of those ways to raise a little bit of money," says Andrew.
The truck is an Overlander, which still has quite a bit of conversion work to be done - including a rooftop stage. But we won't give too much away now as the interview will likely feature in the May edition of our Audiomission podcast.
The Joneses don't know how long their open-ended odyssey will last, but they're on a mission to network with, support and encourage mission leaders across Europe, including bringing many of them together at "roundtable" events.
You can follow Andrew's blog - tallskinnykiwi - and keep your eye on the CMS website where hopefully we'll soon have some video of the truck, and be able to share some more video footage of the journey as it progresses.
